Courts Judgement, Domains as Assets, Prevents Transfers/Sales

Hi All,

So we won a major lawsuit against someone that owns a few good domains.  My questions is has anyone dealt with taking a domain as an asset to allow the courts to auction off to go towards the judgement?

Any insights, tips, information (URLs), etc to help.  I'm aware of the GD subpoena page; https://www.godaddy.com/legal/agreements/subpoena-policy and the general https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/help/dndr/udrp-en

Has anyone seen cases of the courts taking and auction off a domain to settle a judgement?

Thanks.

It's like any other intangible asset. It's a somewhat specialized area of the law, and you'll definitely need an attorney who knows the procedures. Not so complicated though.
