This is insane, GoDaddy offers .com.br domains and Trustee services but nobody has any idea how to accomplish a transfer from my existing Registrar/Trustee service over to GoDaddy's.
They tell me to just follow this page: https://www.godaddy.com/help/transfers-updating-service-
The whole document starts out at "You do not need to take any action if you opted for our Trustee service". Then it goes on to changing service providers.
And since I currently have a Trustee Service they ARE the shown as the domain owner, so I would assume I need to change the owner to GoDaddy's Trustee Service. However I can't get a straight answer from anyone.
The last guy tried to tell me with no Briazillian Tax-ID I can't transfer them, I tried to explain that was the purpose of the GoDaddy trustee service.
I've gotten 6 varied answers from 6 people on how to proceed.
Is anyone on here from GoDaddy that is actually 100% sure on this process???
GoDaddy went to the trouble of setting up a trustee service somebody must know how to use it when transferring a domain.....
My biggest problem is the document ends with "Enter the CNPJ/CPF ID of the new owner."
GoDaddy's Trustee Service should be the new owner so how the hell should I know the CNPJ for GoDaddy, and they don't even know what it is so far.
I can understand they probably don't get many of these but if you want to offer a service you need to have some idea how it works. I'm not a hater I have alot of domains, certificates and a VPS. But GoDaddy is pi***ng me of on this one.
I even tried chatting with GoDaddy Brazil for guidance, she was very nice but said company policy is I have to chat with US reps. The same reps that can't help me!
Any help is appreciated, especially from GoDaddy......
