    Domain and Wordpress Website

    Hello Community,

    I wanted an advice, currently I'm creating a website over Bitnami Wordpress and would like to purchase a domain with godaddy for it, but I'm confused whether it would require wordpress hosting as I only intend to buy domain and link with the website.

    Please advice.

    The only reason you need to purchase the WordPress hosting is if you want to host your website with GoDaddy - otherwise it's just purchasing the domain and pointing the DNS to your hosting provider.
