Domain resolution problem

Hi,

My domain neoxic.me stopped being resolved at some point. The DNS records seem to be in order. This is what I see on my end:

$ host neoxic.me ns58.domaincontrol.com
Using domain server:
Name: ns58.domaincontrol.com
Address: 173.201.76.29#53
Aliases:

neoxic.me has address 88.212.207.137

$ host neoxic.me ns37.domaincontrol.com
Using domain server:
Name: ns37.domaincontrol.com
Address: 97.74.108.19#53
Aliases:

Host neoxic.me not found: 5(REFUSED)

$ host neoxic.me 1.1.1.1
Using domain server:
Name: 1.1.1.1
Address: 1.1.1.1#53
Aliases:

Host neoxic.me not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

$ host neoxic.me 8.8.8.8
Using domain server:
Name: 8.8.8.8
Address: 8.8.8.8#53
Aliases:

Host neoxic.me not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

So, only ns58.domaincontrol.com resolves the host alright. Another account is in charge of the zone, but regardless, I can see and edit the DNS records pertaining to my domain which is convenient.

What else can be done to have the domain up and running? Please advise! Thank you!

Re: Domain resolution problem

Have you gotten a resolution.  I appear to be having the same problem.

Re: Domain resolution problem

No, I have not. The community seems to be unable to help.

The only option for me is to call GoDaddy customer support by phone (yes, it's 2019!). And that's going to be long and useless...

Re: Domain resolution problem

Ok, I'm calling in to.

Thanks,

Re: Domain resolution problem

Hi @neoxic,

Your nameservers appear to have been recently updated to the proper default nameservers. And the domain is now resolving by the A record to a remote website/server. We have also reconciled the DNS to insure its recognition globally. You should now be able to access your website.

Re: Domain resolution problem

I really appreciate your help though It looks like there is a great deal of legitimacy on my side to request additional information about why the domain was unresolvable for more than a month and what measures are in place to prevent this issue to reappear in the future. Thank you!
