Re: Google DNS problem

It is a common practice for internet service provider to hijack dns request to benefit their cause...

or sometimes, it just takes forever for dns data to propagate... google is not the problem, your isp is

Re: Google DNS problem

Well, do you think also digitalocean.com might have problem with ISP?

My domain botka.link is registered with godaddy.com and served by ns1.digitalocean.com and ns2.digitalocean.com. The domain resolves from my notebook

> nslookup
> botka.link
Server: 127.0.0.53
Address:	127.0.0.53#53
Non-authoritative answer:
Name:	botka.link
Address: 206.189.108.110

But does not resolve from my host at digitalocean.com

# nslookup
> botka.link
;; Got SERVFAIL reply from 8.8.8.8, trying next server
Server: 8.8.4.4
Address: 8.8.4.4#53
** server can't find botka.link: SERVFAIL

DNS at digitalocean.com works fine

> server ns1.digitalocean.com
Default server: ns1.digitalocean.com
Address: 173.245.58.51#53
> botka.link
Server: ns1.digitalocean.com
Address:	173.245.58.51#53
Name:	botka.link
Address: 206.189.108.110

The problem is the same when GoDaddy's DNS serves botka.link instead of ns1.digitalocean.com. There is no such problem with my second domain set exactly the same way. Strange. Any ideas? Thank you.
