Need CNAME HELP--not sure what to do?

I need help with DNS, here are my ANAME and cname records, but should I be putting in the whole string for the ANAME or just the ip address. Also I am not sure what to do with the CNAME, usually we have just the subdomains, what should I do for the cname?

admin.chi.v6.pressero.com: 65.60.63.98

Values for CNAME records are shown below,

admin.chi.v6.pressero.com: chi.v6.pressero.com

Use the IP address for Aname and/or the hostname for Cname.

Examples...

A-

Host: @

Points to: 65.60.63.98

for yourdomain.com

Cname-

Host: www

Points to:chi.v6.pressero.com

for www.yourdomain.com
