Keeping old emails

Hi, I no longer need my domain name or email account, but need to keep my old emails as a record. Do I still need to renew my account as standard or is there an option to just keep existing emails? Thanks.

Hi @Danielle1

Thank you for your post. You may create a backup of your emails by exporting a .PST file through the Outlook mail client if you happen to have your email address connect to it.

If you do not have your email setup on an Outlook mail client at the moment, the address will be required to be active and accessible at the time of the client connection to download the email content off the server.

Below I have included a 3rd party guide for exporting .PST files from Outlook 2013,2016.

Outlook 2013/2016 Importing and Exporting PST files

Once your email has been backed up you may restore the content to an existing email view the messages.

Hope this helps!
