SSL Standard cert question - confused

I bought a standard ssl cert from GoDaddy today for company.com. I generated my CSR with a common name of fs.company.com but after entering the CSR and getting the keys back, after loading the pfx file, its coming back with either company.com or www.company.com.  somewhere fs.company.com is getting lost along the way.

this will be used in a ADFS environment with Azure AD Connect and O365 if it matters.

Ill be calling support as well but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this.

Hey @flabr03,

Generally a standard SSL is used to secure (domain.com, www.domain.com). However it is possible to secure one subdomain level such as (fr.domain.com, www.fr.domain.com) if that is specified during the initial CSR request for the certificate.

I haven't heard of common cases where the subdomain specified being dropped during the request. Were you able to get through to our SSL team to help review the situation in your account to get this corrected?
