SSL binding for azurewebsites.net

I have a domain name www.contoso.com that has been issued a SSL certificate. The domain is pointed to contoso.azurewebsites.net.

When I navigate to contoso.azurewebsites.net, the security lock goes away and the site indicates it is unsecure.

Do I need multiple SSL certificates for each of the azurewesites.net addresses? We have a public and priavate. Or can I cover these with the SSL certificate I already have?

Re: SSL binding for azurewebsites.net

In order to cover subdomains with an SSL, you'd need to get a Wildcard SSL Certificate, otherwise the SSL you have would only cover the primary domain.  You can view our Wildcard SSL information & pricing here: https://uk.godaddy.com/web-security/ssl-certificate/wildcard-ssl-certificate.
