How to make an existing Wordpress site ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliant?
One of my clients is concerned that his website is not ADA compliant. Does anyone know of any tools to scan a Wordpress site to see if it complies with WCAG 2.0. I am also seeking plugins that could help me make the site compliant with the requirements. Thanks!

There is a free tool you can use https://webaim.org/services/certification/. It will scan the website and show you any problem areas. 508 compliance includes document tagging, (if there is downloadable content), any videos or audio files must be captioned and transcripted. For websites, HTML5 usually works with assistive screen readers such as JAWS or NVDA. Various browsers will sometimes react differently to the screen readers, so it is best to test with different browsers. Hope this helps!
