503 problem uploading large file with PHP

I am using php to load file with multipart/form-data and I am getting an error 503 from the server.

I change all the parameters needed in the .user.ini file as:

memory_limit = 3000M;

max_execution_time = 1000;

max_input_time = 60;

post_max_size = 3000M;

max_input_vars = 100000;

file_uploads = On;

max_file_uploads = 1000;

upload_max_filesize = 3000M;

memory_limit = 3000M;

max_execution_time = 1000;

post_max_size = 3000M;

max_input_vars = 10000;

Small files < 150K do succeed to load, only larger files fails

loading large file does not get into my php load file at all, the error 503 is returned after the file is loaded before the php has a chance to run or log any error.

all the error_log files are empty.

any idea anyone?

Thanks

Re: 503 problem uploading large file with PHP

Hello,

Thank you for posting your issue in Godaddy community.

This happens on shared servers when someone is using excessive resources and the only solution is to increase my hosting resources by paying them more. Shared hosting accounts may have been impacted with resource over utilization due to other users, however in any Cpanel accounts, each user is directly responsible for their own consumption.

When it comes to resource limitation errors we would need to review the application requirements for the specific account receiving the error. When contacting our care teams, you can provide a link of application requirements if you have them.

Any alert being generated is due to a threshold being met or surpassed even for a brief instant. Here is a link to resource limitations of the environment we offer for shared Cpanel accounts.

Re: 503 problem uploading large file with PHP

Hello GoDaddy technical support,

Please pay attention that our server is dedicated not shared server !!!

Thus, we expected not to face these problems !!

Currently we still have problems uploading files (bigger than about 5MB) !
We must have quick solution as we may lose customers...

Please rephrase your answer,

Best regards,
Efy Segal
