FTP doesnt work

When i open my ftp and put my credential i get this error

Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of ftp.xxxxxx
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Error: Could not connect to server

It sounds like you don't have ftp.domain.com configured in the DNS

 

You have a couple of options

1) Add a CNAME or A record for FTP pointed to your server

2) Use the IP address of the server

3) Use domain.com for the host

When you go into the domain manager https://dcc.godaddy.com you can select your domain and manage DNS and add it there
