First, a confession: I am not knowledgeable on the workings of things, but I did manage to build a website which has been hosted here on Go Daddy since its existence. Not being very knowledgeable, the website is rather simple and initially ran/downloaded nearly instantaneously. Even as I added content, the website came up nearly instantaneously, including short videos which would download at the click of a mouse and play without interruption. I could not have been more pleased.
Up until recently, that is.
Now, the website sometimes will time out before coming up, and the videos will either not download or when they sometimes do, they will stop, and sometimes restart, but then sometimes will not restart at all.
Nothing significantly has changed on the website. The CSS and formats are all the same. Results of a speed test show 71 Mbps download and 5.9 Mbps upload.
HAS SOMETHING CHANGED WITH GODADDY'S SERVERS? ARE THEY HAVING PROBLEMS? Did net neutrality affect them somehow?
I hope someone at GoDaddy is looking at this issue. In searching the community, it seems that I am not alone in having slow server service.
