Troubleshoot: Reseller plugin

If you're having trouble with your reseller plugin, here are some helpful troubleshooting steps. If you haven't set up your plugin yet, learn how to set up your reseller plugin.

ProblemSolution
When adding products to the cart through the plugin, the pages are going to https://www.domainspricedright.com/. You’ll need to deactivate the plugin and reactivate it. This issue is caused by selecting Activate Demo Reseller during setup instead of Activate Your Reseller.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Plugins.
  2. In the list of plugins, under Reseller Store, select Deactivate, wait a few seconds, and then select Activate.
Product information, such as pricing, is incorrect and needs to be reset.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Reseller Store.
  2. On the product you want to change, go to the Product Options section.
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. Select Reset to resync the product information with the plugin.
A newly launched product isn’t appearing in the reseller plugin. You’ll need to import newly launched products, as the plugin doesn’t automatically sync them.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Reseller Store.
  2. From the menu, select Settings.
  3. Select the Set up tab.
  4. Select Import New Products.
The language and currency settings need to be changed.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Reseller Store.
  2. From the menu, select Settings.
  3. Select the Localization tab.
  4. Choose your Currency and Market and select Save Changes.
The plugin doesn’t sync information from the Reseller Control Center, even after resetting the plugin.

If you’re having trouble syncing with the Reseller Control Center, try the following:

Step 1: Manually resync the product info

  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Reseller Store.
  2. On the product you want to change, go to the Product Options section.
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. Select Reset to resync the product information with the plugin.

Step 2: Troubleshoot additional plugins

If the plugin still isn’t syncing, other plugins might be interfering. Try looking at other storefront plugins that might be causing issues. 

Step 3: Delete your products and reset content

  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Reseller Store.
  2. From the menu, select All Products.
  3. Select all your products by checking the box in the top left corner or select specific products you’d like to reset.
  4. Select the Bulk Action drop-down and then select Move to Trash.
  5. Select Apply.
  6. Select the Trash tab and select the products you just deleted.
  7. Select the Bulk Action drop-down and then select Delete Permanently.
  8. Select Apply.
  9. From the Wordpress admin panel, select Reseller Store and set up your account again. This will restore your products and reset them to the current value in the Reseller Control Center.

Getting errors in the setup process or can’t proceed past setup page. Other plugins might be interfering with the reseller plugin. Try deactivating all other plugins or troubleshooting WordPress content first.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Plugins.
  2. Select all the plugins besides the Reseller Store plugin.
  3. Select the Bulk Action drop-down and then select Deactivate.
  4. Select Apply.
Managing or editing products causes an error page.By default, all the URLs for our products are set up as /products in WordPress, which overlaps with WooCommerce who also defaults to /products. This might cause issues as the WooCommerce URLs can overrule the reseller plugin.
  1. From the WordPress admin panel, select Settings.
  2. From the menu, select Permalinks.
  3. Under Reseller Product Permalinks, select Custom base and enter anything.
  4. Select Save Changes.
