What are account notifications?

When you sign in on GoDaddy.com, we'll alert you if there is something you need to do to manage your account. We only alert you to important things, like when your credit card needs to be updated or your domain is expiring. Don't worry - we'll also send you email about these notifications to make sure you know when your GoDaddy account needs your attention.

What are the different types of notifications?

We'll alert you when:

  • Your payment method is going to expire.
  • Your GoDaddy domain or products are going to expire.
  • There are new ways to be notified about your account, like SMS.

Where can I see my notifications?

Notifications are displayed in the top right corner of the GoDaddy.com site, right next to your name. Click the Notifications icon to see them.

When will you alert me about my account?

We will alert you 30-90 days before your products or payment methods are going to expire. As a visual reminder, the notification will go from yellow to red when you get closer to the expiration date.

How long does it take my notifications to update once I've made a change?

It takes up to 24 hours for notifications to update after you've made a change to your payment method or products.
